Provident Fund Management System

The Provident Fund is the benefit given by the principal as a result of the continued and diligent service by the seamen. It is negotiated for the seamen by AMOSUP during the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the principal of the vessel. It is being administered by AMOSUP.

The Provident Fund System an efficient method of recording and retrieving seamen's contributions and claims records. It tracks the balance of funds and earnings in the form of interests through clear and concise reports per individual seaman. It produces information printed or viewed in the format suited for the use of the seamen, principal, manning agent and/or AMOSUP.
